CLARK Ernest Albert Berry, Pte 29401, 1st Somerset Light Infantry, died 30/8/1918 age 19. Son of Erenest S T & Annie Alice, Mill Road, Charfield. Commemorated on the Vis-en-Artoise Memorial, France

COLBORN William H  Pte 741, 1st Gloucestershire regt died 23/12/1914 age 26. Son of George & Hannah, Station View, Charfield. Commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial, France

FOWLER Arthur Thomas Pte 18677. Son of Thomas & Emily. Not listed on CWGC. Died 1916 following discharge, believed buried in Charfield (Grave yet to be located). [Additional information provided by Alex Threlfall]

HUGHES Albert Alexander Pte 17778, A Coy, 2nd Gloucestershire Regt died 10/5/1915 age 19. Son of George & Annie, of The Wye, Charfield and brother of Harry who also fell the same day in battle. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium along with his brother

HUGHES Harry  Pte 17777, A Coy 2nd Gloucestershire Regt who died 10/5/1915 age 18 Son of George & Annie of The Wye, Charfield and brother of Albert who also fell in the same battle. Both are commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial.
