ALBRIGHT Martin Chicheley  Major, 1st Queen’s own Worcestershire Hussars, Worcestershire Yeomanry, died 8/11/1917. Son of George Stacey and Isabel Margaret nee, Harrison of Bromsberrow Place, Ledbury, Herefordshire, husband of Barbara of Apperley Court, Tewkesbury, Glos. Buried in Gaza War Cemetery, Israel XIX.D.9

ALLSOPP Gilbert Private 11046, 5th Battalion King's Shropshire Light Infantry - died 24 August 1916. He was the son of James & Lettie Allsopp of Chacend Hill, Bromsberrow,  Glos. The Thiepval Memorial list him as Lance Corporal Gilbert Allsopp.  NOTE 1.

AVERILL Thomas    Pte  235264, 1/1 Hereford Regt, died, 15/11/1918. Son of Samuel and Emma of Jones Cottage, Redmarley, Glos, Buried in Terlenctum British Cemetery, Wimille, France, XI.A.9

CHAMBERLAIN  William   Pte. 20309, 2nd Worcestershire Regt, died 27/8/1917. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial, Belgium

CASMOREMORE Frank Pte 41577, 9th Yorkshire Regt, died, 18/6/1917 age 38. Son of John and Mary of Fifield, Oxford, husband of Rosa Florence, nee Hughes of Hardwick Terrace, Colwell, Malvern. Buried in Medinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium II.D.52

COWMEADOW Alfred James Pte 59098, Devonshire Regt transferred to as Pte 104844, 175th Coy, Labour Corps, Son of James and Frances nee White of Oaklands Cottage, Bridstow, Herefordshire. Commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, France.

JONES John Ernest Able Seaman R/3896 Nelson Bn, R.N.Division, Royal Navy, died 25/12/1917 age 34. Husband of  Laura Maud Jones of Peckham Cottage, Poolbrook, Malvern. Native of Bromsberrow. Buried at Villers-Plouich Communal Cemetery, France. A.31  

MINCHIN Edward    Pte 2497, 1/1 Herefordshire Regt, died 19/8/1915 age  20. Son of Robert and Hannah Fanny nee Morris of Letter House, Bromsberrow. Buried in Azmak Cemetery, Sulva, Turkey

MORRIS AE.  Andrew Ewart Morris Private M2/033092, 4th Ammunition Col., Army Service Corps - died 24 February 1915 age 19. He was the son of Thomas & Mary Morris of Baven Hill, Bromsberrow and is commemorated at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen. Military records refer to him incorrectly as Ewart (or Edwart) Andrew Morris. NOTE 1

RICHARDSON Walter Henry Pte 18078, 13th Gloucestershire Regt, killed in action on Friday 22/3/1918 age 38. Son of Charles and Alice nee Stephens of Bromsberrow  Heath, Bromsberrow. Buried in Peronne Communal Cemetery Extension, France. IV.H.12

TANDY George Pte 28083, 24th Pembroke and Glamorgan Yeomanry died 21/8/1918, nephew of Henry Tandy of The Croft, Bromsberrow. Commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial, France

WATKINS Rueben Henry  L/Cpl 11305, 1st Kings Royal Rifle Corps, died, 27/10/1914, age 18. Son of William and Mary of Bromsberrow Lodge, Ledbury, Herefordshire. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium

RUSSELL John Barrington  Lt, 2nd Rifle Brigade. Only son of Reginald and Dorothy Russell of Bromsberrow Grove House. Born 5 October 1922 and killed in action 28 April 1943. Buried in the Military cemetery, Massicault, Tunisia  “Well done”[ Information taken from the plaque which is inside the parish church]

HAINES Harry Pte 4916152, 5th Wiltshire Regt, died 6/8/1944 age 23. Son of Mrs J Haines, husband of J D Haines, of Bromsberrow Heath, Bromsberrow, Commemorated on the Bayeux Memorial, France

TAYLOR Thomas Arthur Pte 4104566, 10th Highland Light Infantry, City of Glasgow Regt, died 9/2/1945 age 28. Son of Elthel husband of  Vera Joyce of Bromsberrow. Buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Germany. 58.H.11
